I use these bottles with my Mr. Beer brewing set. They work great and shipping was fast.

After reading the others I wanted to be sure I wrote something and gave this product a great review. NO there is nothing else with this set. That is the whole purpose, it is a bottling set. NO there is no "pressure release" it is beer, you have to have pressure! And the whole Mr. Beer line has been very good to us.

When you buy the basic Mr. Beer kit you NEED these bottles so if you see first these review buy the kit that comes with the bottles, unless you want to look for bottles on the recycling trash.

A little disappointedOct 21, 2009
I was a little disappointed that the caps for these bottles do not have the pressure release feature that are part of the caps that come with this company's root beer kit.
Great for bottling home brew beerSep 06, 2009
8 amber plastic liter bottles and caps. Safer to use than glass bottles and easy to tell how much carbonation/pressure has developed by squeezing the bottle. Amber color keeps light out. Of course a glass beer bottle is smaller and easier to drink from. Cheers!
